Dreams- Ch 14Leaning over the railing, Ozzie silently watched the wolves roam about the enclosure. She knew each of the seven wolves by heart, and she followed each one in turn with her eyes. Each time she switched her gaze to a different wolf, she fought the urge to turn around and head back. She enjoyed this alone time, watching her beloved wolves. She studied the way they moved, admiring the way their muscles worked, their gait, they way they communicated. For a while she was content, until two of the wolves lay down beside each other, nuzzling. A pang shot through her chest, and she looked down at the bushes that were planted along the fencing.Dreams- Ch 14
